Merrill Technologies Group fabricated two very large test stand structures for RedViking Engineering. The cosmetic appearance, dimensional accuracy, and structural integrity of the massive columns and overhead platform structure were critical to the customer. Merrill Technologies Group utilized the extensive manufacturing capabilities of its companies Merrill Tool and Merrill Fabricators to deliver superior machined surfaces, welds and White Gloss finish paint to create an end product specific to customer specifications.
The completed test cells will be in use at a US Department of Defense facility where overhauled helicopter transmissions are tested before being returned to service.
